At my grandmother's house I actually found an employee handbook for the staff of the 1984 Olympics. Apparently my uncle was doing an internship in LA and got to see the Olympics and "noticed the handbook lying around" and snatched it up for posterity. Looking through it I must admit it was pretty amazing looking through the different duties of the people working out of the spotlight to ensure that the athletes and spectators had a good time. Unfortunately after I came back from my second semester at college I seem to have lost the book which sucks.

Usually the food in the commercial looks good thats not the case here.

Wow, around two years later, Ms. Bertinelli would marry Eddie Van Halen, a prolific rock guitarist. A year later, Timothy Hutton would excel in the dramatic arts, winning an Oscar for "Ordinary People", and Dee Wallace would play mothers in E.T., and Cujo. This is my dad's high school time, but he never saw this until now, over forty years later.

This is a good video. Things were even crazier in the NFL of the 1920's. During the 1920's, J. Mayo Williams (look him up on wikipedia) played NFL games on weekends, and he worked as an executive for Paramount records during the rest of the week. He was in the College Football Hall of Fame and the Blues Music Hall of Fame.

Give me a break with the Dr lecturing her. That’s not his place. I’m 60, so I was in high school in 1979. Gobs of girls were on the pill, some as birth control and some because their periods were super heavy or irregular. I never got a lecture from my Dr. Better to be open and realistic with sex education than the way it is now. Minimal information and teen pregnancy rates so high.

Chuck Barris was a complete genius, but he's crazy, you could never imagined. One of my favorite Chuck Barris game shows is gonna be The Gong Show, it was the original American Idol. The second is Treasure Hunt which was pure genius, the original Dond, third is The 1.98 Beauty Show which is the same as The Gong Show. if you watch television shows today they can trace back to Chuck Barris, he was a pure genius.
